This Friday, a seasonal, Halloween event started at Lagoon Amusement Park, in Farmington, Utah. I attended this event on Saturday, and noticed many differences from last year's Frightmares event. First of all, the "Fun House Of Fear" Walkthrough facade has changed, as you can see in the photo at the top of this post. Also, there is a new show in the Carousel Theater. It's called Into The Dark. It is a show featuring songs from Metallica, Panic At The Disco, and many more. They still have the Hackenslash Chainsaw show, but it is now done in the space where Monster Classics, and Zombie Mombo has been in the past. The 20 Years Of Terror Walkthrough from last year, now has a new name of "Terrors Of The Past", and there is a new walkthrough in Pioneer Village, it's called "Frightening Frisco". It's a pretty cool walkthrough. The sets are very elaborate, but not as many special effects as Nightwalk. Speaking of Special Effects, Fun House Of Fear has tons of Special Effects this year. Towards the end of the walkthrough, there is a giant clown puppet, controlled by a hidden scare actor. I will talk more about Frightening Frisco, in an upcoming blog post. Now, when you first opened this post, you may have noticed the random picture in the section of the parking lot, next to Cannibal. The photo isn't very good quality, but if you look closely, there is a big space of the parking lot, dug up deep enough for a concrete foundation. Which could mean we are getting a new flat ride for 2017! Time to start speculating, my first guess, is some sort of Zamperla flat ride. Since the last company they worked with was Zamperla, for Air Race. I hope you enjoyed reading this post, and make sure to watch the first Coasters N' Stuff livestream tommorow, I will be discussing Frightmares and the new 2017 attraction.Â
